450g beef mince; 1 onion, chopped; 100g mushrooms, chopped; 1 carrot, peeled and chopped; 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped; 400g can of chopped tomatoes; 1 tbsp tomato puree; 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce; 1 tbsp sunflower oil; 150ml water; 1 tsp mixed dried herbs; pasta to serve. |

Heat the oil in a pot and cook the onion for about 5 mins until soft. Add the garlic and cook for another minute. Add the mince, stir, and cook for 3 minutes until its brown all over. Add the chopped carrots and mushrooms, cook for a minute, and then add the tomatoes and 150ml of water. Add the tomato puree, herbs and Worcestershire sauce.Stir and bring to the boil. Cover, reduce heat and leave to cook gently for 30 minutes. Serve with pasta. |
