Apples in chilli syrupby tn brown |

| Recipe Ingredients |
| 4 large Cox's apples, peeled and each cut into 8
wedges; 1 red chilli, deseeded and finely choppped; 100g granulated sugar; 50g butter; 300ml water; ice cream to serve |
| Recipe Method |
| In a small pan put the chillies and sugar and
add the water. Heat gently, stirring until the sugar is completely
dissolved. Simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile melt the butter in a nonstick frying pan, add the apple wedges and coat with the butter. Cook gently for 10 mins turning the apples occasionally. Add the chilli syrup to the apples in the frying pan and simmer for 5 mins. Serve with ice cream. |
