Turkey Goulashby emma walker

Cooking time: approx 1 hour
|approx 300g turkey meat, cubed.
1 onion, chopped;
1 carrot, chopped;
1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed;
1/2 green pepper;
1 tbsp paprika;
1 tbsp plain flour;
1 tbsp tomato puree;
2 tomatoes, skinned and chopped;
salt and pepper;
2 tbsp olive oil;
to serve: noodles or rice
to garnish: soured cream (optional)
|Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the turkey.
Fry until well sealed.
Remove the meat and place in a casserole dish.
To the frying pan add the garlic, carrots, onion and green pepper and gently fry for about 5 mins.
Then add flour, tomato puree and the paprika and stir, cook for a further minute.
Add the stock and bring to the boil, season with salt and pepper.
Add the tomatoes and stir. Then pour this over the turkey meat and mix through.
Cover casserole and place in a pre-heated oven (Gas 4, 180C, 350F) and cook for about 45 mins.
Serve with noodles
