| Recipe Ingredients |
| 115g self-raising flour; 150g self-raising wholemeal flour; 1/2 tsp salt; 75g feta cheese, crumbled; 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives; 150ml milk, plus extra to glaze; 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. makes about 9 |
| Recipe Method |
| Sift both the flours and the salt into a large
bowl. Rub in the feta until the mixture resembles
breadcrumbs. Mix in the chives and then the milk to make a soft dough. Lightly flour a work surface and knead the dough until smooth. Roll out to a thickness of about 2cm, then cut out rounds with a 6cm cutter. Place on a non-stick baking sheet. Brush with milk, then sprinkle over a little cayenne pepper. Bake for 15 minutes at 200c/gas6, until risen and golden. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack. |
