| Recipe Ingredients |
| 175g butter, at room temperature; 175g caster sugar; 1 egg yolk; 175g plain flour; 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda; 1/2 tsp salt; 50g rolled oats; 50g small crunchy nugget cereal. makes 14 |
| Recipe Method |
| Cream the butter and sugar until light and
fluffy. Mix in the egg yolk. Sift in the flour, bicarbonate of soda and the salt. Add the oats and cereal and mix well. Chill for at least 20 minutes. Grease a large baking sheet. Roll the mixture into 14 balls, place them on the baking sheet and flatten. Bake at 190c/gas 5 for 10-12 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container. |
