Egg nog

Recipe Ingredients
12 eggs, separated;
215g sugar;
900ml milk;
240ml bourbon;
120ml brandy;
900ml double cream;
nutmeg, for grating.
 
Recipe Method
Put the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl and beat well. Add the milk, bourbon and brandy. Mix well.

Put the egg whites in a bowl and whisk until they form soft peaks. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. Fold both into the egg yolk mixture.

Spoon into serving glasses and grate a little nutmeg over each.
