| Recipe Ingredients |
| 2 chicken breasts, cut into chunks; 4 spring onions, cut into 5cm lengths; 1 red pepper, cut into chunks; handfull of sesame seeds; For the marinade: 3 garlic cloves, crushed; 3 tbsp dark soy sauce; 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce; 2 tbsp hoisin sauce; 2 tbsp sherry; 1 tbsp tomato puree; 1 tbsp sunflower oil. |
| Recipe Method |
| Mix together all the marinade ingredients in a
large bowl. Put the chicken in and coat it in the marinade. Leave
to marinade for 30 minutes. Meanwhile if using wooden skewers soak them in cold water for at least 30 mins. Thread the chicken onto the skewers alternating with the spring onion and red pepper. Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle over some sesame seeds. Cook under a hot grill for 5 minutes, then turn them over and baste with more marinade and sprinkle on some more sesame seeds and grill for a further 5 minutes. |
