Banana flapjacks

Serves: 8

Recipe Ingredients
150g butter;
150g light brown soft sugar;
4 tbsp clear honey;
350g porridge oats;
2 small bananas, mashed;
50g banana chips, roughly crushed.
 
Recipe Method
Gently melt together the butter, sugar and honey in a pan, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Pour this into a bowl and add the oats, mashed banana and banana chips, mix through. Pour the mixture into a lined 22cm shallow square cake tin. Bake in a preheated oven - 190c/gas5 - for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes. Mark into fingers and leave to cool completely.
