Spicy saucy sausage pasta

Serves: 4

Recipe Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil;
8 pork sausages, each cut into 3 chunks;
1 onion, sliced;
2 garlic cloves, crushed;
1 rounded tsp chilli powder;
400g can chopped tomatoes;
300g fusilli pasta.
 
Recipe Method
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and brown the sausage chunks. Drain off any excess fat from the pan. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is tender.

Add the chilli powder and tomatoes. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile cook the pasta in boiling water according to the pack instructions. Drain the pasta and add to the frying pan. Mix the pasta through the tomato sauce and serve immediately.
