Mustard sausage with appleby J Jones |

| Recipe Ingredients |
| 8 herby sausages; 1 tablespoon vegetable oil; 1 onion, cut into wedges; 2 apples, cored and cut into wedges; 1/2 pint chicken stock; 1 rounded tbsp redcurrant jelly; 2 tbsp grainy mustard; tsp dried rosemary; new potatoes to serve |
| Recipe Method |
| Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and cook the
sausages for 5 mins turning often. Add the onion wedges and cook
for a further 5 minutes until golden. Then add the apple slices and
cook for a few minutes until start to turn golden. To the stock add the redcurrant jelly and stir until dissolved, then add the mustard and stir until dissolved. Pour into the pan and let it bubble for a few minutes to reduce slightly. Add the rosemary and leave to simmer uncovered for 10 mins. Serve with new potatoes. |
