| Recipe Ingredients |
| 500g beef mince; 2 tbsp mild curry powder; 500g mix of carrots and swede, chopped into small cubes; 1 onion, chopped; 400g canned chopped tomatoes; 420g baked beans; knob of butter. |
| Recipe Method |
| Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the
carrot and swede cubes for about 18 minutes or until tender. Meanwhile dry fry the mince with the onion until the mince is brown. Add the curry powder and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and baked beans, season and leave to simmer for 15 minutes. Drain and mash the carrots and swede with the butter and season well. Transfer the mince to a heatproof dish and top with the vegetable mash. Put under a hot grill for a few minutes until the top is crispy. |
