Sticky toffee pudding

Recipe Ingredients
175g self raising flour;
2 medium eggs;
115g butter;
115g dark brown soft sugar;

for sauce:
50g butter;
25g dark brown sugar;
2 tbsp double cream;

creme fraiche to serve
 
Recipe Method
Sift the flour into a bowl and beat with the eggs, butter and sugar until smooth. Spoon the mixture into 4 greased and lined 175ml pudding basins. Bake for 20 mins at gas 4.

For the sauce, heat the butter, sugar and cream until the sugar has dissolved. Boil for 1 minute until thick. Turn the puddings out and drizzle the sauce over each of them.
