Sugary Semolina Biscuits

Serves: 1

Recipe Ingredients
2oz Self Raising Flour
1oz Semolina
2oz Butter
1oz Caster Sugar
Drop Almond Essence
Water
 
Recipe Method
Cream butter and sugar.

Add flour and cut together with knife.

Bring together with fingers, adding a little water if necessary, to make a very soft paste.

Sprinkle surface with granulated sugar.

Mould out with flat of hand.

Cut out rounds.

Place on baking tray covered with tinfoil with lots of space between each.

Bake at 150deg for as long as it takes for them to brown.

Pull tinfoil out of tray and place on cooling rack. Separate any which have joined while still soft.

Allow to cool a little before shifting onto cooling rack.

Make tea, eat all the ones you've just made, then get ready to make some more. :-)
